We heard numerous people who were getting discouraged with the pricing escalations last year say that they were going to wait until the market goes down to buy. Instead of adjusting their expectations of what they should buy they chose NOT to buy at all....so they are still renting a home.

Keep in mind that there is no Foreign Buyers Tax in Chilliwack. That makes Chilliwack more attractive....not ugly.
People are cashing out and becoming millionaires and then coming to Chilliwack. Seems pretty attractive to me. Young Families are moving from Surrey and Langley and coming to Chilliwack to good schools and a more relaxed lifestyle with...BCREA Housing Affordability Plan
